Mission Viejo Homecoming Game

We took the kiddos to Mission's Homecoming Game this past Friday. I wasn't sure how it would go. I was a little wary, not to mention loaded down with bags, blankets, and kids.
We went at 5:30 for the 7:30 game to make sure we would get a spot. The Steinert's and the Johnson's saved some space for us. We actually went to support Josh Steinert, our friends son. He's a giant DL. Check out his stats and picture- he's looking to play in college - and rightfully so. Kathy had pulled pork sandwiches and fixin's in the parking lot before the game so we chowed and Conner woo'ed the older kids with his skills (see pictures below).
When we sat in the bleachers to watch the game Conner sat in front of us and kept moving down lower and lower to chat with people he didn't know. He was really excited about the game action and said that they ran fast and then OW-hurt.
At halftime they brought out real camels and the lady royalty on flying carpets (wood platforms painted and held by 4 guys). They had huge painted wooden backdrops to emphasize the "Aladdin" theme for homecoming. How much money does this school have????
Anyways, the game was great and Conner and Wyatt did really well. Wyatt charmed the pants off anyone sitting close enough for him to smile and squeal at. We went home after the halftime show content with our first football game memories.
