Conner's 3rd Birthday

Conner started his day with a little pancake batter.

After church we headed to Nya Nya's. We are lucky enough to have Jessica, Drew, Raeley, Brooklyn, Tanner, and Miles in town to celebrate with us. They are here for two weeks! Its so much fun to see all the kids playing together so well. Conner calls Uncle Drew - Unka Dew.

I'm sure you'll never guess who had the kids pose like this...

Nonner's was so hot and sweaty, not to mention tired!
I made an ice cream cake with crushed oreo layers for Conner's cake...since he can't have you're regular old Betty Crocker.

Conner had so many helpers as he opened his presents and he LOVED all the games and toys he got.

Thanks to Craigslist we snagged a great deal on a cool new bike for Nonner's.
He loves it!

Birthday Countdown

Conner had a birthday countdown using numbered cupcakes. I'm pretty sure he didn't get it...but he had fun taking a cupcake off each day.

Berries and Toast

Berries and toast for breakfast. Can you tell his eye is pretty much all cleared up.

Our neighbors are originally from China. She just had a baby and her parents have come over on a Visa to help her out for 6 months. Her parents did the same when her first was born. They always come a few weeks before the baby and obviously stay for a long time after. They are ALWAYS taking Kara outside for walks or to the pool...I doubt that girl watches any TV. Grandpa is always gathering snails for the kids to poke at. Such fun.

Swimmin' in the Pool with the Cuckoo Bird Suit

Doctor Doctor Give Me the News!

Can you tell from this angle?
I had a busy day at the doctors today. I went to my 11 week appt and they did a quick ultrasound...which led to the statement, "This baby is really measuring big...and it looks like a girl."
My doctor was freaking a little saying we looked about two weeks off. They called to the genetics testing office to reschedule me quick for the those lovely tests they like to do when your past 35...
They squeezed me in but I was at that office for around 2 hours. Still, things look good and they also cinfirmed the whole girl thing. Hee Hee. She says I look about 13 weeks and 6 days. There are so many dates floating around...I can't keep them all straight.
Fawn babysat the boys this morning. Took them on a long walk...and she also did my dishes for me! They have been sitting there a while because I have been laying my sick but on the couch too much. You don't know what a relief it is to have someone help you with that pile of dishes that are making you crazy! So relieved!!!!!!! So wonderful!!!!
Rae watched the kids for my later appt.. They played outside in Owen and Sydney's little water box toy. They had so much fun.
Josh came home early from work (amazing) because he was soooooo excited about having a girl. Can you believe that? Mr. "I only want boys" guy is really excited about this. Who knew! Yes, I am excited too! A little nervous...but excited.

Painting Again

Why is letting your child do this...so exasperating? I KNOW he loves it...I remember LOVING to paint...why do I have to be the one that makes this so difficult? He really doesn't make that big of a mess...

Haircuts for Everyone!

Friday, I sculpted my Jimmy Connors into this.

Wyatt desperately needed a haircut but its so hard to part with that last soft baby hair...I didn't want to do it...but I did.

A little free time on a Saturday morning, the #5 guard on a pair of clippers and you end up with this little qt.
I got a haircut Friday too...but you'll just have to wait.

The 4th

Look at these two characters. Making towers together out of full pop cans.

You see that Root Beer on the edge? About to roll off? Well it did...and sprayed its contents to the high heavens!

Guess Sunny was a little tired. She took advantage of some down time to snooze. Lucky!!

Baby WoWos and I were joined at the hip the whole day.

The blood has taken over his eye! Aaaaaagh!

The coolest picture of the day. An accident on my part...but still way cool.

We got a couple boxes of "fireworks." Just a bunch of poppers in different forms. Parents thought it was lame...kids dug it.
Look at Conner's hair. Hello Jimmy Connors.

Our day consisted of swimming in the pool hours upon hours and eating hamburgers and hot dogs until we popped. We had a large gathering of family and friends...of which I did not get many pics. We played bags and talked and popped our "fireworks." We drove up the hill to watch the fireworks from afar. Conner kept saying he wanted to go to the beach to watch the fireworks...I agreed...this year was low key...which is just what us pregnant ladies needed...look out San Clemente in 2010!
How could I forget Ilta's! All I can say is, "Mmmmm, Ilta's."

Post Relief

I was needing to do a little posting to get my mind off this talk I have to give tomorrow at church! I was going to upload a bunch of pics and fill you in on the last few days...but the battery pack on my camera died-hence, I cannot download the pics yet. Grrrr.
I have been edgy and grumpy all week trying to find time to write this darn talk. We all know how easy it is to get something personal done with two toddlers hanging on you every 2 seconds...and, by the time I get them to bed- I am exhausted and need to go to bed myself. Average to bed time for me lately? 9:30PM.
This baby is sucking the life out of me.
I should not complain. My sickness is a FAR cry from Annette's. I really should just quit my whining.
Be back tomorrow or Monday with my updated pics!

And Here We Go Again

Nah-ner Mish-chl Uh-yuns! This is Conner's pronunciation of his name.
Happy 4th!

Conner accidentally stuck WoWos in the eye with a broomstick on his back swing. It wasn't like this before the nap...so you can imagine my fret when I got him up and he was like this! Took him to the doc to check for Corneal abrasions...of which he had none. Yay!!!!! This should go away in a month or so.
