BUGS

I went out to direct our grapevines onto the trellis the other day and I noticed this cool bug. He would stay on one side of the vine and move to the other side of the vine quickly as you moved toward him. So you could make him go around and around it by moving your finger toward him.

Well, when I came inside a brushed my hair to the side and this little guy flew out of my hair and right into my cleavage!!!!!!! I totally freaked...I'm not THAT scared of bugs but I didn't know whether or not this guy bit and the potential for him to bite me if he got squished between the girls was a scary thought. I frantically brushed him away and squealed...which Conner found amusing...and the bug flew to the microwave- then flew away and I can't find him.

The Boys

Conner loves to lay down by Wyatt and he loves to help me change his diaper.

Conner giving me the evil eye. This is his Russel Crowe hairdo.

He could be a spokesboy for Raisin Bran. He likes to eat it dry, right out of the box.

Little Wo-Wo, as Conner calls him, getting some tummy time.

Does he look like Jack Jack from the Incredibles?

Stuff

So, last week we were super busy- we swam numerous times at Gram and Gramp's house, went to the park, went to the beach club, and went camping. It was our first trip camping with the two boys. Wyatt was an angel and slept all night (until 6AM- he usually wakes up at 4AM). Conner was up all night in the tent. He finallly crashed about an hour after everyone went to bed- which I think was around midnight or one. It was hilarious to be in the tent with him while he was all over the place and chatting up a storm. I didn't mind it too much because I know he had so much fun...and that's why we were there!!
Here are some pics from our last week.

Summer

The Boys (including Josh) and I went to the beach on Thursday. It was a little overcast but still a lot of fun. Conner wasn't as brave this year with the ocean. He held onto our legs as we waded into the shallows...not like last year when he would just walk straight into the water, waves and all. I made little trails in the sand for him to drive his truck and I built little castles that he immediately knocked down. When Wyatt woke up I had to feed him and them Josh and Conner took a walk down the beach. Fun day.
Today we went to Gram and Gramps pool again (twice- once before nap and after for a BBQ). Conner has grown accustomed to his inner tube swim suit and started to float on his own and kick around. It's so cute to watch him toddle around by himself like a big boy!
We also celebrated Father's Day today since we have church tomorrow and then plan to visit Tyler, Melissa, and their new baby in the hospital. Conner and I woke Josh with a certificate sending him on a golf lesson with a pro. Then he came downstairs for some homemade biscuits and gravy....yum.
Happy Father's Day to the most amazing man ever!!

Forgot How Intensive This Was

So, I forgot how babies go through their little stages...Wyatt is in his "don't put me down" stage and I feel like I can't get anything done (dishes, housework, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.). He also cries when other people beside me hold him. Instead of relaxing when we get in the car- he gets PO'd and cries reallly hard! Sheesh! Other than that he is soooo precious and smiley.

He caught Conner's cold finally yesterday and has been a little stuffy but sleeping a little more- thank Heavens! He took a long nap so I could swim with Conner in Gram and Gramps pool yesterday. Conner and I had some great one on one time and I just can't get over how cute and sweet he is!
We took Conner and Wyatt to see Kung Fu Panda this Saturday with Rae, Toby, Owen, and Sydney. Conner sat on our laps for a total of half the movie...the other half he walked up and down the aisle watching and YELLING "Wow" all the time. Ha Ha. Wyatt ate the whole time and also peed on me (came out the top of his diaper while I was feeding him). The movie was pretty funny..worth buying I guess.

Conner and Wyatt's Great Grandpa Tad from Idaho sent a package for the boys the other day. So sweet of him to make the effort. He bought a few things that were for the wrong gender but of course we had Conner try them on anyways. Ruffly pockets are in, right?
